Salesforce Administrator (Washington, DC)

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for owning the Salesforce platform
  • Daily administration, support and troubleshooting of Aristotle Salesforce database including, but not limited to; adding new users, checking system permissions on users to restrict or provide data access, and modifying existing records
  • Maintain consistent level of data quality through routine maintenance.  Be proficient with bulk data migration and data updates
  • Create and maintain Salesforce configuration, including validation rules, approval processes, workflow rules, page layouts, data fields, sharing rules, visual flow, list views, email templates, and auto-assignment rules
  • Create reports and Dashboards for stakeholders that are relevant to business analytics
  • Work with Salesforce, support vendors and internal technical staff to troubleshoot and apply new features, upgrades and patches.
  • Manage the software testing process, log and track identified system problems through resolution, provide recommendations for process improvement and keep users informed about system functionality
  • Develop and implement training for current and new users and maintain guides and procedure documentation
  • Monitor Sales Force usage and maintain proper security measures
  • Provide ongoing documentation to Aristotle Sales Team and Management Team so that colleagues are on track with all Salesforce enhancements and procedures
  • Work alongside IT, Salesforce support, Marketing team and internal stakeholders to ensure Salesforce configuration supports the business requirements
  • Deliver support and solutions for break/fix issues
  • Facilitate continuous improvement within the environment
  • Other duties as assigned

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work/technical experience
  • 2+ years of Salesforce experience, specifically with the technical implementation, day-to-day operations and long-term maintenance of Salesforce
  • Must have a solid understanding of the organizational structure and the various business processes involved in order to maintain strong relationships with key groups.
  • Experience documenting and analyzing processes, procedures and/or policies

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience planning and leading Salesforce.com integration projects
  • Web Services experience in Salesforce.com and other applications
  • Software development experience
  • At least one year of salesforce.com development experience in one of the following specialties: Apex (triggers, web services, API S-Controls) and Visualforce
  • One or more of the following certifications: Salesforce.com Administrator, Salesforce.com Developer
  • Strong interdepartmental communication skills and ability adapt to quickly changing needs is a must
